How did you transition? I used the Mealsaps Detox Guide. I detoxed for a strict 10 days. The first 3 days were starch free vegetables only. I drank a lot of detox smoothies (ick!) and drank plenty of water. On the 4th day, I was able to implement fruit and that overwhelming craving for sugar was quenched. The remaining days, I enjoyed vegetable stir-fry and a variety of salads which made it a seamless transition into vegetarianism.
Whats your favorite cruelty free dish? I have a few! I love good old rice & beans! I can eat that for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. I love a good vegetable medley: mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, zucchini, & squash over a bed of quinoa. I also love Thai Zucchini Soup! I found the recipe on Instagram.
Any tips for other vegan viXens in progress? My advice for this lifestyle upgrade is to stay steadfast. It really is refreshing and fulfilling. Your body will thank you in return!
